Choreographed by Malia Johnston, Tōrua features an exceptional ensemble of dancers from New Zealand and Australia, including Levi Siaosi, Sefa Tunupopo, and Kia Jewell. Over two weekends, the performance unfolds in public spaces, where dancers interact with their surroundings, guiding audiences through a dynamic urban experience. Accompanied by a custom soundtrack by Anna Edgington and Eden Mulholland, the immersive performance is further enhanced by headphones, creating a fully engaging celebration of movement, place, and connection.
